На беломорских островах часто встречал такие "ванны", пополняемые за счет осадков и брызг прибоя. Чем выше уровень ванны над уровнем моря тем соответственно преснее вода. Ну и прогреваются они в жару - дай боже!
Эхх... на Север потянуло :)
